This late 40-year-old patient’s happiness with her recent weight loss was lessened by the resulting abdominal skin excess along with her drooping breasts (previously having had breast augment), asymmetry and ptosis. To make her more comfortable with her overall appearance, she chose to have a “mommy makeover,” abdominoplasty, open capsulectomy, exchange to new implants and breast lift, with liposuction of her hips and flanks. Her preop and three months postop photos show a patient much happier “in her skin.”
