Skin
Jane Iredale tests every product in a lab panel for skin sensitivity to ensure that their skincare is suitable for the widest range of skin types. If in doubt, test a product on the inner arm. While there is no such thing as too much sun protection for the skin, it is not necessary to wear sunscreen with the the SPF makeup. Furthermore, products without labeled SPF like the liquid minerals line contains enzymes and vitamins to repair preexisting UV damage. Products labeled water-resistant typically last 40-80 minutes but with excessive water exposure or sweating it is best not to wipe your skin but rather pat dry. The mineral formulation is designed to provide long wear against water, however, if in direct sunlight you may wish to reapply an additional layer for best protection.
Makeup
These light-reflective cosmetics help blur fine lines and wrinkles giving a healthy, youthful glow to the skin. Matte makeup, on the other hand, absorbs light and draws focus to depths and edges. For aging skin, we recommended to use a hydration spray during application to set the makeup and give the face a dewy, fresh look.
