What is the active ingredient in Restylane® Kysse?
Designed with movement in mind, Restylane® Kysse is made with XpresHAn Technology™, an innovative hyaluronic acid (HA) gel for precise, organic-looking results. With the ideal balance of flexibility and support for a natural feel, you can maintain a full range of expressions with kissable softness.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps provide hydration, fullness, and elasticity. It diminishes as we age, causing skin to lose volume while increasing the chances for wrinkles and folds to appear.
Restylane® dermal fillers use clear gel formulations of HA. As the original non-animal stabilized HA filler, Restylane is designed to be closest to the body’s own hyaluronic acid and the first to be approved by the US FDA.
What can I expect from my treatment?
Restylane® Kysse ‘s versatility addresses a range of aesthetic goals such as defining the cupid’s bow, achieving a symmetrical pout, creating dynamic fullness, and smoothing perioral lines (the vertical lip wrinkles). After your treatment we advise you to avoid strenuous activity, heat, and aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (such as ibuprofen, St. John’s Wort, or Vitamin E) as these may all increase bruising at the injection site. Instead, a cold compress can greatly reduce swelling and redness. Results can last up to a year but be sure to speak to your provider about the best treatment plan for you and your specific aftercare instructions.
