What is PrecisionTX?
PrecisionTx is a type of precision laser treatment from our popular smartlipo technology platform, which enables minimally invasive treatment of smaller areas. Treatment areas include the neck and the jawline, as well as ablation of axillary sweat glands to treat hyperhidrosis.
What can I expect during a PrecisionTX laser treatment?
First, the problem areas are marked for precision, then, local anesthesia is administered in the selected area. A small cannula with a special fiber inside inserts through a small incision in the skin allowing the laser to directly target those areas of unwanted fat and loose skin. Heat stimulates the production of collagen which leads to skin thickening and tissue retraction. The entire process takes about an hour.
We perform this procedure under local anesthesia or with additional sedation such as ProNox or IV sedation
What can I expect with my PrecisionTX laser treatment recovery?
Many patients are ready to return to work within a week after undergoing a Precision Tx treatment. It is normal for a patient to have some bruising and minor swelling, but these symptoms should subside approximately a week after the procedure.
