Emsella

BTL Emsella® is a non-invasive treatment that strengthens the pelvic floor muscles using High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM®) technology. It is designed to improve bladder control, pelvic stability, and overall quality of life for both women and men.

Who is Emsella for?

Emsella is ideal for individuals experiencing urinary incontinence, pelvic floor weakness, or decreased core support. It is commonly chosen by women after childbirth or menopause, as well as men following prostate procedures or those seeking improved pelvic strength.

How does Emsella work?

Emsella uses HIFEM® energy to stimulate deep pelvic floor muscles, producing thousands of powerful supramaximal contractions in a single session. These contractions strengthen muscles more effectively than traditional Kegel exercises and help restore neuromuscular control.

What does the treatment feel like?

During treatment, you will sit comfortably on the Emsella chair while fully clothed. You will feel rhythmic muscle contractions in the pelvic area, which most patients describe as unusual but not painful. No anesthesia or recovery time is required.

How long does a session take?

Each Emsella session lasts approximately 30 minutes. Patients can return to normal activities immediately after treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

A typical treatment plan consists of six sessions, usually scheduled twice per week. Your provider may customize the plan based on your individual needs and goals.

When will I see results?

Some patients notice improvement after the first session, with continued progress throughout the treatment series. Optimal results typically develop over several weeks as muscle strength and control improve.

Is there any downtime or side effects?

Emsella requires no downtime. Patients may experience mild muscle soreness similar to post-exercise fatigue, but this usually resolves quickly.

Is Emsella safe?

Yes. Emsella is FDA-cleared and clinically studied. It is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment with a strong safety profile when performed by trained providers.

How long do results last?

Results can be long-lasting, especially with proper pelvic muscle engagement and occasional maintenance sessions as recommended by your provider.

How do I get started?

Schedule a consultation with a qualified provider to determine if Emsella is right for you and to create a personalized treatment plan.
